Taiwan Scores Poorly in Chicken Welfare Report

A report by a chickens' rights group has ranked Taiwan sixth out of 17 Asian-Pacific countries for its treatment of egg-laying hens. Of the three billion laying hens raised across Asia each year, 90% spend their entire lives in cages.
