On February 18, newly elected Chandigarh Mayor Manoj Sonkar resigned from his post. The resignation comes amid allegations that the January 30 mayoral polls were rigged, reported PTI. Manoj Sonkar had won the poll by defeating the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Kuldeep Kumar. The matter will be heard in the Supreme Court on February 19. Watch the video to know more.
