00:00 A senior citizen was at home after a fire in a barangay in Baco, Orcavite, which also caught fire last week.

00:07 The problem of the barangay is that the new fires continue because the evacuation site of the first fire is still occupied.

00:17 One week after the big fire in Barangay Nyoguan, Baco, Orcavite,

00:25 another fire broke out in another part of the barangay around 4 pm yesterday.

00:34 The fire quickly spread because of the light material in the houses.

00:40 In the bad omen, Rosalinda Umpok, who has been homeless for 60 years, was trapped in their burned house.

00:48 She just left her house because she bought something.

00:52 When she returned, the fire was so big that they couldn't get inside.

00:57 It was just quick because our neighbors thought the fire was there.

01:01 The wind was also strong yesterday.

01:05 The BFP is still investigating the source of the fire.

01:09 The three houses were burned.

01:11 Almost 70 families lost their homes.

01:14 Most of the burned people did not leave the place.

01:18 They stayed in tents even if it was sunny.

01:22 The residents are looking for something to eat.

01:26 Some are collecting pako and saring bakal to sell.

01:31 It's hard, ma'am, but we just endured it because we just left here.

01:38 According to the chairman of Barangay Nyoguan, only 20 families can accommodate in the barangay because their evacuation center is not enough.

01:46 Their designated evacuation center was occupied by some people last Saturday.

01:52 The residents of Nyog Elementary will stay until Tuesday.

01:57 I will talk to Mayor Strike if it's possible to evacuate the residents of Nyog Elementary.

02:06 GMA Integrated News is trying to get a reaction from Bako or Mayor Strike Ravilia in the barangay.

02:13 For now, the barangay is giving food packs to the burned people.
