Housing Minister Lee Rowley has said London Mayor Sadiq Khan has failed to meet his housing targets as the government sets out planning rules to boost the construction of new homes on brownfield sites. 00:20 forward over 60,000 new homes a year. He's set a target of about 50,000 homes a year. He's only
00:26 delivering about 30 to 35,000 homes a year. He needs to do better. He has a choice. He's been
00:33 in power now for eight years. He's failed to do that and what the government is going to do is
00:37 say to people like Zeeq Khan you've failed and so we're going to change the rules to make sure that
00:41 London contributes more because London needs more housing and if Zeeq Khan won't do it we will make
