00:00 Good evening, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
00:04 Just a week ago, there was a new landslide that hit the Davao de Oro and was hit by the sand.
00:14 The search and rescue operations continue, more than 40 are still being searched.
00:19 Not to mention, 30 people were injured.
00:21 Including a mining company, whose workers were allowed to go home from work but the bus was hit by the sand.
00:31 Oscar Oida was also affected.
00:33 After the almost-darkness, with only a few flashlights.
00:42 I'm so tired.
00:43 It's raining, right?
00:48 And, I'm so tired.
00:53 I can't, I can't, I can't.
00:59 I can't hold on.
01:00 Oh my God.
01:02 Thank you, Lord.
01:03 I'm exhausted.
01:05 I'm so tired.
01:08 It seems that the rescuers were not able to hold on.
01:12 I want to rest.
01:15 I can't go home.
01:17 I can't.
01:18 He can't hold on, especially for a man who was submerged for several hours.
01:26 But he still has a lot of difficulties.
01:29 They are two bus drivers who suddenly ran over the collapsed land in Masara, in Maco, Davao de Oro last night.
01:37 The bus is still moving.
01:40 How long has it been running?
01:42 Possibly.
01:43 So, Lord, help me, Lord.
01:45 Relax, brother.
01:46 I don't want to get tired, brother.
01:48 The residents did not move.
01:50 But they did not forget the six missing vehicles.
02:02 More than four are still missing.
02:06 The tragedy of the survivors is that their faces and bodies were covered by the ground.
02:13 We are ready to give our parts to the next bus.
02:16 Some of them have blood on their faces.
02:20 Less than three people were injured.
02:23 The residents tried to help them.
02:26 Water, water.
02:28 Water, help me.
02:30 No soldiers and the Maco MDR-MO were able to help the survivors.
02:39 When the incident happened, the workers were on their way home from a market that was being taken home by the bus.
02:47 Another bus was the first to leave before the landslide.
02:51 It was taken to the town of Mawab.
02:54 So that night, the bus was about to leave, the shifting was about to end.
03:00 According to the local government, there were no signs of the landslide, especially since there was no rain when the tragedy happened.
03:08 But it was the day after, the rain was almost continuous.
03:13 The trout of LPA was there.
03:15 The volume of water was thicker because the rain was really strong.
03:20 That might be the reason why the water of the mountains was absorbed because that's what happens in the landslide here.
03:28 As of now, there is no sign of landslide in the area.
03:34 I cannot attribute it to the mining operation because our mining is well cared for.
03:43 We don't know if there's a mining area there.
03:47 For the GMA Integrated News, Oscar Oida, for Tutok, 24 Hours.
03:52 And just like that, Apex Mining has released a statement where the two buses that were hit by the landslide are working.
04:02 Apex clarified that the incident did not happen in their mine operations area.
04:08 The landslide happened in the terminal of vehicles that are used as service vehicles for their people.
04:16 The mining company said that the operation of the local government's rescue operations is limited.
04:24 In the last page, 62 Apex Mining employees were accounted for and are safe.
04:32 45 others are still being searched.
