00:00 - Well, not only that, but it was one of the main reasons
00:02 I was really hell-bent to open with a very large sequence
00:05 taking place in the '40s, was because I felt like
00:08 before we confronted our audience with where Indy was
00:12 in 1969, we had to somehow, I felt like I wanted,
00:16 as a good chef to continue the cooking,
00:18 to offer you an appetizer that made you aware,
00:21 we can do this, we're gonna do this,
00:24 but it's gonna be a journey 'til you're back
00:26 to this kind of heroism again, you know, in the third act.
00:29 So that, but we wanted to whet everyone's appetite,
00:33 give them a chance to kind of partake of the thing
00:36 we all love about these films, which is the kind of
00:39 intricate filmmaking style, golden age filmmaking style,
00:42 the score, the look, the Nazis, World War II,
00:46 the whole nine yards.
