The DILG, MMDA and Office of Civil Defense discussed what to do

The MMDA also ordered the construction of a Disaster Response Training Center in Cavite

that can be used to train in the preparedness for disasters and emergency rescue training.

Meanwhile, the Memorandum of Agreement was signed between the Philippine Red Cross

and the Regional Emergency Assistance Communications Team or REACT

to strengthen their assistance in responding and communication in times of crisis and disaster.

The goal of the MOA is to provide the Philippine Red Cross with support and service of the REACT

from the first aider, medical personnel, search and rescue team and radio operators
