00:05 Discover and value the historical and cultural heritage of Lombardy
00:09 through the works of Carlo Dradi, the Milanese graphic designer
00:12 who in the 40s and 50s made the advertising posters for the Ferrovie Nord Milan company.
00:17 This is the goal with which "La vita in movimento" was born since 1877,
00:22 the F&M Ferrovie Nord campaign presented at the Adi Design Museum in Milan.
00:28 Carlo Dradi's historical posters tell not only about the company's long evolution,
00:33 but also the impact it has had and continues to have on the development of the Lombard territory.
00:38 It is a collaboration that starts from a rereading of our archives
00:43 and we saw this great artist who interpreted a time of travel
00:50 where free time was combined with work, he represented it in an artistic way
00:56 and calling him "Heretic Dradi" we decided to update this initiative
01:02 to give a new vision of the city and the history of F&M.
01:07 The advertising campaign, which starts on February 12th from the Ferrovie Nord station in Milan-Cadorna,
01:12 consists of a manifesto that collects an anticipation of some shops
01:16 and 15 subjects that will be displayed individually.
01:19 These works will be placed in several of our stations, especially those on the outskirts,
01:25 where the station still represents a point of aggregation, a very important part of the town.
01:33 I would like to think from here a few years to imagine that our structures
01:39 are used also for other purposes with an important social value.
01:45 The son and grandson of Carlo Dradi, among the participants in the presentation of the campaign,
01:49 expressed great joy at the idea of seeing the works of their family in the stations.
01:54 The emotion is to see them displayed as if they were new, all together,
02:00 because I always remember them from all the posters we had at home and that we still keep.
02:09 So I have them all in mind.
