00:39 She is being subjected to abuse by her employer.

00:42 Her employer is making her suffer.

00:44 She is being imprisoned and starved.

00:46 She said that her son was being stabbed.

00:49 She said that he was weak and he was asking for money.

00:53 She said that he was overweight.

00:55 Her employer's attitude changed suddenly since last year's September.

00:59 I was so scared.

01:01 I wanted my son to go home to the Philippines.

01:05 I said, "It doesn't matter if you don't have money,

01:08 you can go home as long as you are alive."

01:17 reported the alleged abuse to the Department of Migrant Workers.

01:21 Julia was immediately released from her employer

01:23 and was able to return to the Philippines on January 20.

01:27 The maltreatment is a criminal offense.

01:30 If there are criminal offenses against ROFWs,

01:34 we ask for help from the host country, police forces,

01:38 or the Omani government authorities

01:43 who help us to save the children and bring them to the shelter.
