00:07 but he goes into arguably the top three, top four of Liverpool's managers.

00:12 People wondered how quickly he could have an effect on the team and straight away we saw that

00:21 heavy metal football, the way he wanted to press, and it was so different to what people had seen

00:27 within the Premier League. He connected the team, the club, the ownership. I think he managed to be

00:33 that guy, the glue of the club, and who held things together to win a Premier League title,

00:39 the first Premier League title, but a league title after 30 years was quite remarkable.

00:44 I think more so Salah than anyone, just because of the age, the Saudi interest,

00:53 what does he now do, who comes into the football club as manager, what do they see this position

00:59 as, do they think it's an opportunity to cash in and maybe rebuild a little bit more and add

01:05 more quality to the quality that's already there. I think the big thing for the players is that

01:09 they'll all be thankful to Jürgen because to go to Liverpool and to win trophies is

01:15 something that's not very easy to do.

01:20 I think the other thing it'll do is it'll create incredible atmospheres which the players will

01:25 absolutely thrive off and if you can get the atmosphere at Anfield cooking, it's a difficult

01:31 place for any team to go, no matter who you are. However, there is a job to be done, it's not a

01:36 sort of swan song and just like a happy-go-lucky atmosphere, you're going for a Premier League

01:45 title. We look at Sir Alex Ferguson, we look at Arsene Wenger and we look directly at the

01:52 replacements for them and go, well they didn't work, it's took years and people will argue

01:57 Manchester United still haven't recovered from that. The names on the list will be Xabi Alonso

02:01 because of his time at Bayer Leverkusen in the early stages, top of the Bundesliga,

02:06 still unbeaten as we talk now within the German League and the Bundesliga and the Europa League.

02:12 So you look at that and you say, phenomenal, absolutely incredible. Then you look at, I look

02:18 at De Zerby, I think he's a manager who understands, he works within the constraints of what Brighton do

02:24 and they have a process of how they want to do things.
