The modern police station is located in Layyah. The Layyah police station's interior design resembles that of a hotel. Beautiful furniture, a fountain, a chandelier, and pictures are employed as decorations. A green lawn adds beauty to the police station. There is also a waiting space with AC and cozy seats. Front desks are designed to have officer available 24 hours a day and give guidance to the public. An electronic machine is also located at the entrance for the provision of the token number.
Additionally, there is a DRC community room (dispute resolution community) where family issues and financial issues are discussed and tried to be resolved without FIR from the police.
In an interview with UrduPoint presenter Majid Randhawa, Fazal Abbas, SP, city Layyah, said that this initiative is taken so the public can directly interact with police. Further, the police are always to provide services to the public. And all eight police stations in Layyah district have been upgraded.
