00:00 Germany is now in charge of China's actions against the Philippine ships in the West Philippine Sea.

00:10 The compliance with international law is the best guarantee for every state in the world to be protected.

00:17 This is the house of German Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.

00:22 She is the head of the West Philippine Sea, where she gave the importance of following international law.

00:29 Yesterday, Baerbock was in Malacanang, where she helped President Bongbong Marcos.

00:34 President Marcos visited Germany in March.

00:38 The Philippines hopes that Germany will be a role model in upholding the rights of the Philippines in the West Philippine Sea.

00:44 I think we really do a great job in convincing the rest of the world on the importance that we should attach to international law

00:53 because that is the way we should proceed.

00:57 Meanwhile, the Japan-Philippines Reciprocal Access Agreement is being discussed.

01:02 It will be the guide for Japanese soldiers during their joint military training.

01:07 The RAA is still fixing the details before the President signs and ratifies the Japanese Parliament.

01:13 According to some sectors, this could be a test of more military agreements in other countries.

01:19 They are in charge of this because they see the US's hand in such agreements.

01:24 It is possible that the US is preparing to sign this agreement with China because of Taiwan.

01:29 According to the AFP, the entry of military agreements in other countries is not a militarization but a defense of the sovereignty of the Philippines.

01:37 There is no militarization because these are activities that will just strengthen the capability of the country to defend itself.

01:50 War planning on the part of the United States is not just limited to its presence within each of these countries or each of these areas.
