BIR waives P500 registration fee for biz taxpayers

00:00 The Bureau of Internal Revenue or BIR has scrapped its annual registration fee or ARF paid by business taxpayers.

00:08 In an advisory, BIR announced it will stop collecting 500 pesos effective January 22nd in compliance with the Republic Act No. 11976 or the Ease of Paying Taxes Act.

00:21 The EOPT Act aims to modernize and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of tax administration, update the taxation system, and strengthen rights and welfare of taxpayers.
