Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has started crude oil production from its massive deep-sea project in the Krishna-Godavari (KG) basin block KG-DWN-98/2, which was hit by multiple delays and deadline extensions over the past few years. The project is expected to help the state-owned oil and gas behemoth to arrest the decline in its overall oil production from its mature fields.ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯದ ತೈಲ ಮತ್ತು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಅನಿಲ ನಿಗಮ (ONGC-Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) ಬಂಗಾಳ ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಯ (Bay of Bengal) ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಗೋದಾವರಿ ಜಲಾನಯನ ( Krishna Godavari basin ) ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿನ ಆಳವಾದ ನೀರಿನ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ನಿಂದ ತೈಲ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ. KG-DWN-98/2 ಬ್ಲಾಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್-2 ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ತೈಲ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿದೆ
