John Kim Portes Peligrino's Fatal Crash @ Carmen 2019
Young Philippine motocross rider John Kim Portes Peligrino died on Thursday, 17 July 2019, one day after his crash during practice for a motocross race at Carmen race track in province of Cebu, Philippines.
Peligrino made an unsuccessful landing after a jump and was hit in the chest by his bike as he fell from it. He was transported to hospital and returned home following the checkup. On the next day Peligrino complained about pain and was transported to MJ Santos Hospital in Butuan City where he passed away about 15h. Internal hemorrhage was suspected as the cause of his death.
John Kim Portes Peligrino died just four days before his 18th birthday. He won the Naliyagan Festival Motocross Tournament one month prior to his death.
