00:00 Definitely there is a sense of anger, especially among the Palestinian refugees who live in
00:07 Lebanon.
00:08 In particular, for those who don't know, Lebanon hosts a number of Palestinian refugee camps.
00:13 The total number of Palestinian refugees who are in the country is estimated to be more
00:18 than 200,000.
00:19 Hence, we're seeing thousands of Hamas supporters in particular who attended the funeral.
00:29 The funeral started outside of the Palestinian camp.
00:32 It started in the heart of Tariq al-Jdidi, in one of the mosques there, a huge mosque
00:39 in Tariq al-Jdidi.
00:40 And then the funeral moved into the Palestinian refugee camp of Shatila, where al-Aruri was
00:49 buried along with the other people who lost their lives in the airstrike as well.
00:55 So thousands of people, especially Palestinians and Hamas supporters, were angry today in
01:01 that funeral, as well as many Lebanese people are anxious on what could the next hours and
01:06 days bring to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
01:11 Okay, so that's what's been happening today in the south of Beirut.
01:15 Let's talk now about what's been happening even further south, in the south of Lebanon,
01:19 these last 24 hours.
01:20 What is happening in the border area?
01:24 We're seeing in testification of the Israeli airstrikes over there.
01:28 So just a couple of hours ago, the Israeli Air Force launched a number of different airstrikes
01:36 across different border villages.
01:39 What is important to note is the fact that Israel has shifted its focus from drone attacks
01:46 in the south of Lebanon to actually air force and jet strikes.
01:51 So the damage is becoming much more significant in the areas along the border which are being
01:58 hit.
01:59 Yesterday, even in the late evening hours, Israel launched an airstrike on the town of
02:09 Nakura, which is very close to the border.
02:12 But it was the first time that Israel actually launches an attack on the center of the town.
02:17 So a three-story building in that town was hit.
02:22 The entire building collapsed, as long as severe damage to a number of other houses
02:27 and the entire neighborhood nearby.
02:30 So we're seeing a much larger scale of destruction resulting from those Israeli attacks on southern
02:37 Lebanon, as well as the usual Hezbollah-claimed Israeli, claimed operations where Hezbollah
02:45 attacks either armored vehicles stationed along the border or a group of soldiers.
02:50 And even recently, Hezbollah started attacking just houses in the settlements along the border
02:57 with Israel.
