There is much to fear outside the safezone. Inverted blood rain, raiders, entities that arise from our transgressions and even other pockets of humanity clawing their way to our mutual objective, the one thing we continue to fight for beneath the crushing weight of our sins: Survival.

Will your team succumb to their trauma? Will they bargain with demons? Or will they forge a path through the evils they face and save their brethren? Every decision will test their resolve.

Welcome to Spirit Fall! A tabletop RPG that rewards team synergy and clever tactics. While the world is quite dangerous, players will find that there are numerous methods for dealing with threats. In a setting where violence often has lasting repercussions, mounting failures will push teams to their breaking point. You will be amazed at how often your players will drown in the concrete jungle of New York City.

In this game you play as a team of responders tasked with braving the innumerable horrors of the demon apocalypse to ensure the survival of your home. Danger and temptation in equal measure lurk in the ash-strewn streets and alleys of a post-apocalyptic New York City.

The demons annihilated humanity. The few who survive live in safezones: places where the sun pierces through the ash clouds and the air is clean enough to breathe.

A demon manifests when responders commit certain sins outside of the safezones. Usually, a sin’s requirements are stable, such as murdering another person. Sins often have loopholes. For example, forcing someone to hand over their gear at gun-point doesn’t count as stealing and doesn’t manifest a Malaphar. Sometimes, a sin’s requirements can shift. Often when requirements shift, they close those loopholes or make the requirements even easier to meet. Each demon has its own unique set of sins which cause it to manifest.

Demons don’t immediately manifest. After a sin is committed, but before a demon manifests, supernatural effects herald the coming of the demon in the surrounding area.

Fraught with enemies, lethal environments, and sentient forces beyond human reckoning, Spirit Fall provides a thrilling adventure for those who want to see the best and the worst humanity has to offer in an ash-covered New York City.
