Japan set for 3rd H3 Rocket launch

00:00 Japan is all out on its outer space program.
00:03 This despite two failed tries earlier this year to successfully launch its next generation H-3 rocket.
00:10 Billed as Japan's next flagship space vehicle, it is slated for liftoff and news in mid-February
00:16 between 9.22 a.m. to 1.06 p.m. from the southern island of Tanegashima.
00:22 The first launch attempt in February already delayed by several years.
00:26 This went kaput when the rocket boosters did not ignite.
00:30 In its second stab at liftoff in March this year, the spacecraft had to self-destruct
00:36 when the command center concluded it would not succeed.
00:39 In next year's mid-February launch, the rocket will carry a performance evaluator instrument
00:45 along with a dual secondary satellite.
