00:00 What a series to be a part of. Percy Jackson is massive.
00:05 I was a big fan of the originals with Logan Lerman,
00:09 obviously your predecessor, Walker.
00:10 So I'm curious, did you speak to him about this
00:12 before going into filming or anything?
00:14 I haven't spoken to him yet,
00:16 but I have gotten a couple of messages from him.
00:18 Like, we did a panel in New York,
00:21 and he sent in a message for that,
00:23 and he did an interview with Liam,
00:25 and he gave me a couple of pieces of advice,
00:27 which were really helpful.
00:28 Nice. Like, when you do a series,
00:30 obviously, as opposed to a film,
00:31 you can put so many more details, I think, in there.
00:34 Are there any little details about each of your characters
00:37 that you think that we should be looking out for?
00:38 Because I feel like they've added little things,
00:40 even like Annabeth, like, touching her, like,
00:43 the Yankees hat when she's, like, nervous and things like that.
00:46 Is there anything for you, for any of you,
00:48 that you think, look out for that?
00:50 That's a great question.
00:52 - That is a good question. - Don't have an answer.
00:53 - You go first. - Oh, yeah?
00:57 Yeah.
00:58 I think this isn't, like, an emotional thing,
01:00 but his physicality is something that we worked on a lot for Grover.
01:03 So, whenever he's kind of at camp, he has a certain posture.
01:07 Whenever he wants to run, he has a certain posture.
01:09 Just stuff like that, that kind of, like, tell his mood,
01:12 because he's a very empathetic character.
01:14 He feels things very strongly,
01:16 and we worked hard on trying to reflect that in his physicality.
01:19 Oh, nice. How about you, Walker?
01:21 This isn't really, like, an Easter egg.
01:24 It's just something I like that they added in the books.
01:27 You can look at the poster behind me, too.
01:29 It has that, like, in the dark, celestial bronze glows.
01:34 And so Percy's sword glows,
01:35 which I think is a really cool, like, detail that they added.
01:38 Super bright in the Minotaur.
01:40 - Yeah. - And in, like, the... yeah.
01:41 I always find it weird as well that you guys say Minotaur,
01:44 because I've always been brought up saying Minotaur.
01:46 Yeah, James Bobin always says Minotaur.
01:49 - Minotaur. - Yeah.
01:50 So, we've changed, like, we've done, like, multiple takes.
01:52 Like, the whole Minotaur sequence,
01:54 we did, like, half the take saying Minotaur.
01:57 - Half the take saying Minotaur. - Yeah, how about you?
02:00 Like, just like what you said about when she's, like, nervous
02:03 or, like, just, like, has, like, interaction with, like,
02:07 a sensitivity to her or, like, emotion.
02:10 I feel like a lot of times, like, if she's, like, being stubborn
02:13 or, like, a little bit of an argument
02:15 or, like, just being happy and stuff,
02:17 I really feel like...
02:19 What was I saying? Oh, yeah, I really feel like...
02:22 I'm blaming these two, because we know what you're doing.
02:25 What are you talking about? Preposterous.
02:27 - Too... - I don't know how you're coping with them.
02:33 - Honestly, well done. - That's what I'm saying.
02:35 Well done.
02:36 But, yeah, I feel like she does that a lot when she...
02:40 - You know, you know. - Yes, yes.
02:42 - That's her hat. - Absolutely.
02:44 A lot of things, obviously, happened to Percy from a young age.
02:48 A lot of remarkable things, which I think kind of mirrors
02:51 kind of what's happened with you guys, right?
02:52 Like, young, a lot of crazy things are happening.
02:55 What would you say so far has been the most exciting
02:58 or remarkable thing that's happened to you
03:01 as a result of all of this?
03:03 Premiere was pretty wicked.
03:04 That was... It was cool to have, like,
03:07 like, real conversations with Percy Jackson fans.
03:12 - Yeah. - Like, talk to them about the books and stuff
03:14 and what their favourite ones were and favourite scenes,
03:17 because, like, I mean, we're all big fans of the books.
03:20 So it was cool to have, like, more big fans of the books
03:24 to talk to about this.
03:25 - So, yeah. - Yeah.
03:27 Can you ask that question one more time?
03:28 Yes, I can.
03:30 Anything... What's the most, like, remarkable, exciting thing
03:32 that's happened, like, as a result of, like, all of this?
03:34 I feel like the travelling part of all of it,
03:36 because, you know, like, I feel like, you know,
03:38 I get to be with the cast and stuff,
03:40 and also just travelling, get to go to these places
03:43 that you normally just wouldn't go to and stuff
03:45 on a regular daily basis, and just to know that
03:48 at such a young age, we're travelling around the world
03:50 and doing so much that, like, people wait years and years,
03:54 almost, like, at, like, the age of, like, 40 sometimes,
03:58 people don't even do so, so, like, just to have the opportunity
04:00 to do it now, it's, like, a really good, like, feeling.
04:03 And also definitely the premiere and stuff, like,
04:05 and even get to do it here.
04:07 Yeah. No, oh my God. No, I get it.
04:09 Like, I didn't start travelling until I was in my 30s,
04:11 and I was like, I wish I'd done it sooner.
04:13 So you guys... You guys are winning.
