Ruskington's Winchelsea School has unveiled its new Smart pod for interactive, immersive learning for pupils, complete with sounds, smells and vibrations!

00:00 The children learn about dinosaurs and there's absolutely no way we can take them back in time to dinosaurs.
00:07 But they can experience it by coming in here and getting an experience with the dinosaurs.
00:14 You can feel the ground shaking as they come through.
00:21 Some pterodactyls flying across in a minute.
00:25 We can go under the water.
00:41 Oops, sorry, one more.
00:43 We can go to space. We can go to water.
00:46 We can go to space.
00:48 We've got a dinosaur under there with us.
00:53 We can also explore.
00:57 And then we have our interactive floor.
00:59 So if you walk across that, somebody on a bicycle.
01:01 Somebody wants to go and have a bit of a walk.
01:03 So for our children with sensory needs,
01:11 it's very useful for them to be able to feel like they are moving water.
01:16 This is what we've leaved. They can pick the leaves up.
01:19 As well as play games and things, I know we can program it to do quizzes.
01:22 Play a game of football on it.
01:24 Play a musical instrument on it to drum a kit.
01:27 There's the other keyboard.
01:30 But we can go into all manner of different environments and different experiences.

01:42 London 1930s, everybody's happy.
01:51 They're just recovering from their last war.
01:54 They're getting back to their lives.
