00:04 The drama continued on part three of Sister Wives one-on-one, and this time Mary's relationship

00:11 with Cody was front and center.

00:15 Fans finally got to see Mary's reaction to Cody telling the cameras in 2022 that he considered

00:20 their marriage over.

00:22 I deserve to have a conversation and to be told.

00:29 And if he wasn't the kind of man to do that, like, I don't even know.

00:35 Like I don't, I don't, I don't know.

00:37 He should have been, he should have been the kind of man to do that.

00:41 But why didn't Cody ever tell Mary how he felt?

00:46 We don't go deep into it because I don't want her reacting in a crazy way.

00:55 I'm not ripping off a bandaid, but I know where we're at and I've made that clear to

01:02 Why hasn't she received that message or has she received that message?

01:05 I think Robin and I are giving her different messages.

01:08 Like we're not on the same page on this.

01:10 And Robin's like, Mary, just hang in there, Mary.

01:13 And then to me, she's like, you've got to reconcile this.

01:16 And I'm looking at her and like, you, you are not going to get me to do this.

01:22 Despite the fact that Cody checked out of their relationship a long time ago, Mary says

01:27 she gave her husband grace and hopes he would return.

01:30 But when that ultimately didn't happen, she blamed him for breaking the promise he made

01:33 to her a while ago.

01:35 That doesn't include the dissolution of my soul or personality.

01:45 That relationship does not work in a marriage for me.

01:49 It's that simple.

01:50 So you're saying you can't function in dysfunction?

01:52 I don't care about the covenant.

01:53 If you can't get through that, then it's broken.

01:58 The episode also focused a lot on Cody's mental state, featuring clips of the 54-year-old

02:02 saying he hates his life in a confessional.

02:05 And although Mary admits she doesn't understand why he is in this mental state, she says his

02:10 happiness doesn't concern her anymore.

02:13 He's made it very clear to me that he's not interested in having any part of my life.

02:19 He's actually used the words, "Your life is not one that I want to insert myself into."

02:24 And so I've had to really step back and figure out me and where I am and how I move forward

02:34 and not let his emotions, his thoughts, his issues at all affect me.

02:43 But how does his wife Robin feel about all this?

02:46 She got emotional explaining why she thinks he is doing this to sabotage his life and

02:52 their relationship.

02:54 He's self-sabotaging.

02:55 He's angry.

02:57 So you see him imploding?

02:59 He tries to.

03:03 Is he sabotaging your relationship?

03:06 I have to stop him all the time.

03:10 And Cody agreed, explained why he's doing all this.

03:14 Yeah, but I wanted to punish myself.

03:18 I thought of myself leaving Robin and having another lover and looking at this lover and

03:23 going, "I don't love you.

03:24 I'm in love with another woman.

03:25 I'm in love with the woman that I left because I was too much a piece of s*** to manage the

03:29 relationship."

03:30 And what it was is just anger and I'm embarrassed.

03:32 So you get embarrassed and then you get self-deprecating.

03:34 You know, it's like just bad behavior.

03:37 And a lot of people might go through this, "These are my demons."

03:40 And that's like doing something that destroys myself.

03:44 Aside from Cody, another major topic of discussion was Robin.

03:48 Christine and Janelle both shut down Cody's claims that they're bullying her.

03:52 And Janelle explained why she thinks Cody feels this way.

03:57 Do you feel like you're a bully, Robin?

03:58 No, I don't.

04:00 And that's where it started to get really weird because all of a sudden it was always

04:03 about framing.

04:08 It's almost like I have this paragon of a wife.

04:11 She does everything right.

04:13 And so if you had any kind of a disagreement or you had any kind of a different opinion,

04:19 even if you expressed it respectfully, you weren't safe.

04:23 You were a bully.

04:24 You know, as a wife, I should be able to say to Cody, "Well, I'm having a problem here."

04:28 But that conversation was never open.

04:30 I couldn't say anything against Robin.

04:34 When Cody was asked if he treated other women equally, he had this to say.

04:39 Oh, I was equitable in my time.

04:41 See that's where the lie is.

04:43 If I had one of my children complaining that I was always at one wife's house.

04:48 And whose house was that?

04:49 Oh, it was Robin's.

04:50 Robin's the blame for everything.

04:52 And this is the why.

04:54 When I say she's the blame for everything, I'm not blaming her.

04:58 But there's something that has drawn the wrath of jealousy from the public, the tabloids,

05:06 from sister wives, something to go towards her where she's being blamed for [expletive]

05:13 what I did or [expletive] that I didn't manage.

05:18 And or the bad relationship I had with one wife.

05:21 Oh, that's Robin's fault because I had a good relationship with her.

05:26 Now it's no secret not all the women get along with Robin.

05:29 And although Christine doesn't blame her for everything, she explains why she doesn't

05:34 necessarily want to be Robin's friend.

05:36 Well, I don't trust her.

05:38 I think she says one thing but does another.

05:41 How can you say you want the whole big family picture but then do all these separate things

05:46 with Cody?

05:47 How can you say you want the whole big family picture when he's over at your house all the

05:51 time?

05:52 So if you don't trust her, how do you have a relationship with her?

05:57 One sister wife who still has a good relationship with Robin is Mary.

06:01 Although she admits they're still working on their relationship, she doesn't fully trust

06:54 It all started with a group text that was supposed to reunite the family for a group

06:57 exchange but instead things took a turn when everyone allegedly started taking digs at

07:05 And Janelle then explained how things took a nasty turn.

07:10 Robin was like, you guys have treated me so badly.

07:12 I'm so tired.

07:13 I don't want to work on this anymore.

07:14 And then all of a sudden her kids started piling in with these really things like, you

07:17 treated us so horribly.

07:19 We're never going to want to have our own families because this was such a horrible

07:21 experience and I'm like, whoa.

07:24 Like I don't know how, I don't know how we go from let's not have a video call at 9pm

07:30 Eastern to you guys were so horrible to us.

07:33 Like it just spiraled.

07:35 The text thread got so heated that Robin decided to do a gift exchange just with her kids and

07:41 Cody.

07:42 When looking back at how they welcomed Robin into the family, Mary thinks the sister wives

07:46 could have tried a little harder and Janelle thinks they should have given the kids more

07:51 time to adjust to the changes in their family before everything imploded.

07:55 But is there any coming back from all of this drama?

08:05 Although Christine isn't interested in fixing things with Robin and Cody, she has happily

08:09 moved on.

08:10 Since the episode was filmed, she has married David Woolley and now she's explaining the

08:16 difference between being with Cody and being with David.

08:21 David loves me.

08:24 And I feel so loved.

08:26 But with that comes a confidence that I can just be me.
