00:00 The final score is amazing. When I look at the final score I see engineering,
00:07 craftsmanship, and detail.
00:12 The perfect score was a three-time Lowrider Magazine show winner and on
00:19 our third title coming home we were cut off and we got swiped over onto the
00:27 embankment and the car was totaled. All the club members came over and they all
00:32 said Chris you need to come out and do something to honor the perfect score.
00:37 Out of the ashes of tragedy came a new Lowrider destined to make history.
00:42 That's when the final score was born in honor of the perfect score. My car's name
00:48 is the final score.
00:51 It is a '58 Impala Chevrolet. When I look at the final score I see
01:01 engineering, craftsmanship, and detail. For all of the fame of his original
01:08 Lowrider, Chris's fans weren't immediately approving of his new build.
01:14 A lot of people didn't take fair to it when it first came out. They were like
01:21 what what is this? This doesn't look good. What are the colors they're
01:26 mixing? But a couple years it went by and now you start to see a lot of people
01:31 starting to entertain all these different colors. This impressive Lowrider
01:36 is customized in every way possible.
01:40 So we got right here a custom mural. We have our car club plaque here fully
01:48 engraved. So as we go through the car we'll make our way to the interior now.
01:54 Door handles were shaved so we have pop doors. Ostrich skin in here with our
02:00 custom logo engraved in the badges. Custom steering wheel here with the
02:05 custom machined Impala emblem and flags. All our knobs match and they're all gold
02:10 leaf. Custom floor mats if you look and the custom pet gas pedals and speaker
02:15 covers. Dakota digital dash which was what was that a custom piece I believe.
02:22 Even the motor was customized. The motor of the final score is an LS1 that came
02:31 out of a mid-80s Corvette.
02:39 The whole engine's engraved to match, painted to match, pinstripe, everything
02:46 matches the rest of the car. There's so much custom parts on this I want to say
02:51 what were we up to last time when we counted like probably close to 600
02:55 custom machined parts in this car alone. Top speed easily probably 120 mph.
03:03 Having left behind the shadow of the perfect score this Lowrider now has no
03:08 shortage of fans. This gets everyone's heads turning when it comes out so you
03:18 know if you go into a busy area it's gonna grab a lot of attention. But with a
03:26 car called the final score one has to ask is this the final Lowrider Chris
03:32 will build. When would I ever stop building Lowriders? I think I have tried
03:40 to stop. It's been tough as you get older you slow down. I have my son and my
03:46 nephew that are young guns and they they've been keeping the fire under me
03:50 to keep me going. My favorite part of a Lowrider is when you can get in it go
03:54 and drive put the top down just have fun and they're different they're unique not
04:00 everyone likes Lowriders but everyone has their own different tastes and I
04:05 just like the feel to be behind the wheeler. I like to feel the creation of
04:10 building something that's unique like this.
