00:30 This part of the war is going to be extremely complicated because of all the civilians that
00:37 are in the area.
00:38 Remember, Israel asked over a million civilians to head south.
00:44 About 800,000 did so, and they are around the Khan Yunis area and just east of there.
00:50 So essentially, you know, Israel is going to have to carry out a much more precise war
00:57 plan in the south if it hopes to avoid the kind of civilian casualties we saw in the
01:03 north.
01:04 The fighting is going to look different in the south.
01:06 And first of all, because of the civilian population, number one.
01:10 Number two, because the United States, which has incredible influence in this war from
01:16 day one since the massacre of October 7th, in many ways, they are consulting and advising
01:24 the Israeli army on what they'd like to see in the southern part of this battle that will
01:31 try to minimize civilian casualties.
01:33 So we expect in the coming days for the first time to have Israel really declare several
01:40 safe zones, not it's safer, go south, but go to this area where there will be no bombing.
01:47 That has never been the case since the war started on October 7th.
01:53 So that will be an important change.
01:55 Israel has already put out a digital, very intricate map for residents of the Gaza Strip

02:15 And also there will just be, I believe, more precise bombing in the south instead of some
02:23 of the massive fire we saw in the north.
02:27 Nonetheless, it is going to be, as I said before, an extremely complicated battlefield,
02:33 and the United States is not willing to give Israel six or nine or 12 months to conduct
02:39 this war.
02:40 So we may see a few more months before it will wrap up.
