00:00 Unfortunately, our upbringing, our education, our media and all the influences around us,
00:07 they do not educate us in the importance and the art of self-observation.
00:14 So we do not know that we are suffering.
00:16 It's a very funny thing.
00:18 People suffer and yet keep behaving as if they are not suffering.
00:22 So you meet a commoner on the road and you ask him, "So, how are you?"
00:26 Chances are he will say, "All is well."
00:28 You very well know nothing is well with his life, but he will say, "All is well."
00:33 And it's not just that you are trying to fool the other by saying, "All is well."
00:37 You actually do feel, "It's almost okay.
00:40 It's almost okay.
00:41 It's good.
00:42 It's good."
00:43 When things are horrible and rotten, we still keep saying, "Must be."
00:49 And that's not because you have a positive attitude.
00:52 That's because we are blind to our real situation.
00:55 It's not about positivity.
00:56 It's about blindness.
00:57 We do not know how we are.
