Hence on the first day of December, Malagban City's government formally ushered in the

season with its Christmas tree lighting ceremony this evening at Welcome Park in Letre.

And to really spread the Christmas cheer, fireworks soared and burst to brighten up

the night sky while Christmas carols filled the air.

And there was dancing as kids and the youth played games and received gifts along with

the elderly.

Mayor Jeannie Sandoval was on hand to preside over the activities and told her constituents

today's activities were by design to make this year's Christmas celebration merrier
