Rita Graham - album Vibrations 1969

  • 6 mesi fa
First (and for many years) sole album by jazz, blues and soul singer Rita Graham from Charleston, Virginia but grown up in Detroit. In her late teens, she moved to California, where she finished three years of college while singing around the clubs and skipped her last year of college to just dedicate herself to music. After many musical experiences, she got a gig working with a r & b band in Sydney, Australia, where she met Ray Charles. That was the jump-start of Rita's career when Ray Charles produced an album of lush stanfards for her in 1969. "Vibrations" was the only major project that Ray Charles ever produced for a female artist on his label Tangerine. After the album was completed, Rita joined the Ray Charles vocal group, The Raylettes, and toured with the Ray Charles Show.
In addition to her singing career all over the world from her debut until today, Rita Graham has also dedicated herself to writing, publishing the suspense novel about past life regression "Karma rising".

You better go now.
Quiet nights of quiet stars.
(there is) No greater love.
Meditation.
P. S. I love you.
Charade.
The Genie.
My cup runneth over.
You'd be so nice to come home to.
If I could be with you (one hour tonight).
