The final leg of rescue operations remained halted at the tunnel collapse site, where 41 workers remained trapped, since Wednesday evening. The rescue operation might resume in the afternoon. The iron rods, which became hindrance for drilling work were removed by NDRF. However, the alignment of 800mm steel pipe has bent due to an obstacle. A team of experts has been called from Delhi to correct it.
