00:05 Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista assured that no one gets behind in

00:10 the implementation of the public utility vehicle modernization program.

00:15 Secretary Bautista also clarified misconceptions on the program that had become the source

00:20 of protests of Pistón.

00:22 LTFRB Chair Teofilo Guadix III also spoke with Pistón National President Modi Floranda

00:29 in order to end the three-day transport strike.

00:32 Guadix said they are open to extend the franchise of Jeeps to five years.

00:37 Meanwhile, SpaceX's unscrewed aircraft Starship, developed to carry astronauts to the moon

00:44 and beyond, was presumed to have failed in space minutes after lifting off in a second

00:50 test.

00:51 It is after its first attempt to reach space ended in an explosion.

00:55 VOA's Deanna Mitchell has more.

01:00 It was all systems go for Elon Musk's giant, uncrewed spacecraft Starship, the largest

01:05 rocket ever produced by man, from the company's Starbase near Boca Chica, Texas.

01:11 The launch is the second test flight for the rocket, which NASA is hoping to use in some

01:15 version for its Artemis mission, returning humans to the moon.

01:19 During the previous launch on April 20th, the rocket exploded minutes after clearing

01:24 the launch pad.

01:25 There were lots of cheers in mission control as Super Heavy successfully separated from

01:29 the Starship rocket.

01:34 The Starship rocket continued into space for around 10 minutes before SpaceX mission control

01:39 lost contact.

01:45 Despite setbacks, the flight overcame some problems from the first launch, showing SpaceX

01:50 is making big progress toward its ambitious interplanetary goals.
