00:00 A Chinese national has no excuse after being complained by a web designer

00:04 for not paying properly for the creation of a website for scamming.

00:08 He even used the threat of an armed man even though he's just a minor.

00:14 The target of the operation was not found by the NBI Cybercrime Division in Baclaran, Paranaque.

00:24 According to the NBI, the Chinese suspect was complained by the web designer

00:31 for creating a website for a fee of 500,000 pesos.

00:34 The web designer said that the suspect only paid 150,000 pesos.

00:39 And to get the balance of 350,000 pesos,

00:42 he needs to create additional websites for scamming.

00:47 They threatened us. They said they will kill us.

00:52 If we don't pay them for creating the task cam, lab scam, and the online gaming site.

01:00 The NBI ordered them to create an in-traffic operation.

01:05 The suspect himself used the threat.

01:09 We were also surprised that the one who carried the gun outside was a minor

01:14 and the child of the subject inside, the one who threatened our complainant.

01:20 So definitely, there was in fact intent to harm our complainant.

01:29 Aside from the Chinese complaint, five other suspects were also arrested.

01:34 One caliber 9mm gun and laptop containing evidence were recovered from the six.

01:40 According to the Chinese suspect, they did nothing wrong.

01:44 It's not true. We are not guilty. We cannot be blamed.

01:48 Under the revised penal code, we have grave threat, computer related forgery,

01:52 and then the illegal possession, as well as the comelic ban, violation under Republic Act 7610.

02:00 The NBI is now holding them while the child of the minor is being brought to the DSWD.
