00:00 Hey, it's Sydney Sweeney, and I'm at my Women's Health Coverage shoot here to answer some questions.

00:05 I think that my strength comes from very strong and independent female role models in my life,

00:16 whether it's my mom or my aunts or my friends, and then also myself.

00:20 I'm very hard on myself, and I think it's important to be, and to be your own role model.

00:25 I think being strong, to me, means confidence. I think that it means health.

00:30 There's also just being a strong person and standing up for yourself and having strong friendships.

00:36 It can be so many things.

00:38 Growing up super active and in a lot of sports, I think it really helped me be not only more confident in myself,

00:46 but I also learned so much respect and patience and pushing myself past the point of where I think that my body wants to stop.

00:55 And I also, it's really fun being able to kick a guy's ass, so it's pretty fun too.

01:00 Something I did for myself this morning was ice roll my face.

01:04 I literally, I ice roll my face usually every morning, especially before a shoot or when I'm working.

01:09 I just feel refreshed, and I'm good. I'm going to start my day.

01:13 So one wellness must-have, I always carry little ankle weights for me so that I can do in my own hotel room workouts,

01:19 or I can put them on and I can go running, and it just makes me feel like I'm bringing my own personal gym with me.

01:25 I don't know if I have a least favorite workout move.

01:28 I used to hate running, but now I kind of love running.

01:30 Getting yourself to get there in the morning, I think that's the hardest part,

01:34 is getting yourself, pushing yourself to actually just show up, take care of your body.

01:38 I think that sometimes can be a struggle. I don't want to get out of bed.

01:41 I don't know if I've ever had one mantra for myself that I go by.

01:46 I feel like every day is like a new day and a new challenge, and I'm just there to embrace it.

01:51 I'm going to smile on my face, and I'm ready to go.

01:53 I put up a ski course recently, and I've been trying to do a ski course and touch my shoulder to the water

02:02 and go one-handed as I turn and just hit every buoy, and I'm kind of challenging myself.

02:06 I really love it. I've been skiing since I was three.

02:09 I used to wakeboard more, but I got in a wakeboarding accident when I was 12.

02:12 I was at my friend's cabin, and I went wakeboarding with my dad.

02:18 I jumped the wake, and I tried to do a 360 with my board, and as I went to land,

02:22 the tip of the board hit the wake, and it just pushed my board up,

02:26 and I actually went the other way, and my face sliced the bottom fin of the board.

02:31 Definitely, I was knocked out and not sure what's happening.

02:34 Everybody's jumping in the water. Blood is everywhere.

02:36 My dad rushes me to the hospital. He's like, "Oh, my God. Don't tell Mom."

02:39 But of course, she's got to know.

02:41 I hit my face, and I had to get stitches right here, and I have a scar that not many people know about.

02:45 Yeah, it was pretty gnarly.

02:47 But the day that my stitches came out, my mom drove me back to the lake.

02:51 She threw me in the water, and she told me that I wasn't allowed to get out of the water

02:55 until I got back up on my board because she did not want me to be scared or afraid of wakeboarding again.
