Fallon Sherrock believes Women’s Darts in ‘best possible place’ after more records broken

Fallon Sherrock has made more positive impressions on the world stage in darts.  As she responds to her fantastic efforts in the group stage at the Grand Slam of darts, what might it mean for the future of women in the sport?

00:06 in 2019 by becoming the first woman to beat a man at the World Darts Championships and

00:12 subsequently the first woman to win two consecutive matches on the world stage. She believes with

00:18 more women involved in the sport they can get across the true potential they have and

00:24 shouldn't be written off against some of the top men's players on the planet.

00:28 It's great because it just proves the standards are getting better and the younger generations

00:32 wanting to play. It's not just the same old faces that you see all the time. We've still

00:37 got Makuri playing in the world as well. That's going to be entertaining because Makuri can

00:40 produce a great game as well so let's not forget her as well.

00:44 A fantastic figure in women's sport as a whole and as she was recently awarded an MBE for

00:49 her magnificent service to the sport it certainly looks like there will be more women getting

00:54 into darts and breaking new records in the future.
