00:00 From Abertaifi to Aberaeron, a new home, Idrigaron.
00:04 The heritage is home to over 70,000 people, thousands of children,
00:08 and will be renovated like every other house in Wales.
00:12 That's for the first time since 2003.
00:15 Since then, the house has been improved.
00:18 A solar panel or a staircase perhaps,
00:20 without mentioning the significant increase in price.
00:24 Here in the heritage, the price of a house on the plot
00:27 has increased by £0.25 million over the last two years.
00:31 It's a bit strange to say how the price of a house will change
00:36 in the future,
00:38 but it's possible that houses in the eastern parts of Wales
00:42 will see prices stay the same or even go up.
00:45 But the Welsh Government says the price of a house has increased
00:49 by 200% in Wales since 1999.
00:51 And it's a bit strange to say how the price of a house
00:55 will change in the future,
00:57 but it's possible that houses in the eastern parts of Wales
01:01 will see prices stay the same or even go up.
01:04 And it's a bit strange to say how the price of a house
01:08 will change in the future,
01:10 but it's a bit strange to say how the price of a house
01:14 will change in the future,
01:16 because the price of a house will go up.
01:19 And it's a bit strange to say how the price of a house
01:23 will change in the future,
01:25 because the price of a house will go up.
01:28 The Welsh Government has promised the world a winner and a loser.
01:32 The country could use over £470 million from 2002,
01:35 but it could lose up to £800,000.
01:37 The Government had promised to implement the change in April 2025,
01:41 but it's possible now that the world is more likely to do so.
01:45 The most important thing about living in the country
01:48 is that it's a lot easier to work in the future
01:51 than it was in the past.
01:53 But the worst thing we can expect from this is April 2025.
01:57 But there's an option, and that's why we're asking the public
02:01 to invest in that for the next election.
02:04 The Welsh Government is raising £2.4 billion a year
02:08 for the local government.
02:10 But according to the Chair of the Council of Local Authorities,
02:14 the price could be lost after these changes.
02:17 The average price of a house is £31,000,
02:21 but the price of a house on average is £260,000.
02:25 So there's a need to agree with the local authorities on that.
02:30 But most of the houses in Cardigan are in a bad shape or worse.
02:35 So we'll lose money if the bad shape has to be improved
02:39 for the next election.
02:41 We asked people how to cut the costs of these changes.
02:45 They said they'd like to see the town start to grow
02:48 and put a council on the line.
02:50 It's helped one family for thousands of years.
02:53 But they think the council's budget is one billion pounds
02:57 more than it could cut in half.
02:59 It's always hard for people to shop around.
03:02 You look at the oil, the money, broadband, mobile phones.
03:06 You can change the number of people.
03:08 You have different options.
03:10 But with the council, the option isn't obvious.
03:13 You have to get in and that's the deal.
03:16 The Welsh Government has considered three options.
03:19 The first is to cut the price of the town of Brysenol,
03:22 which is £9 per square metre.
03:24 The third option is more radical and includes £12.
03:28 The Government must decide first which one to cut
03:32 before anything changes in their budget.
