00:23 My favourite kind of part of the design process is those initial concepts and
00:28 trying to work them out into a final piece that looks presentable.
00:32 Through even the initial concepts of the design I wanted to include those kind of
00:37 core aspects within the design. So I wanted to have like a bit of nature in
00:42 there, I wanted to have like the arts represented some way, so that's kind of
00:46 what was in my mind throughout the process. Through the first stages of the
00:51 design I had in my head that I wanted to include the oak leaves. They've been
00:56 used in countless artworks throughout history to do with the royal family.
01:01 They represent strength and dignity, so I wanted to use them kind of as the
01:05 foundation of the design and then work my way up through to the delphiniums
01:09 which are his majesty's favourite flower.
