00:02 I think that's a good segue to this game as well, because I think that
00:06 a lot of people, Brady, this week will want to back the Minnesota Vikings after
00:10 what they saw last week with Josh Dobbs just carving apart the Atlanta Falcons.
00:15 Now look, the Saints defense, much better, much better than the Atlanta Falcons.
00:19 I want to say that. But if this would go to three, and I don't
00:23 know that it will. I don't think it will. But if it did go to three,
00:27 boy, it feels like getting three points from Minnesota at home against the New Orleans
00:31 team, Brady, that I just don't even still fully trust. They had chances to put the
00:34 Bears away. How many times last week? Four, five, six times they couldn't do it.
00:38 I still got the Saints as one of the most overrated teams in the NFL based on their record,
00:43 but my trust factor for the Vikings, I wonder if this Dobbs was just like a lightning bolt for
00:49 one game, or if it's sustainable for a few. What do you think?
00:53 Yeah, I think your thinking is very similar to mine. The Saints, as a road favorite,
00:58 are almost a 100% auto fade for me. Derek Carr, eight, 25, and two as a favorite of three points
01:06 or more in his career, and it's just as bad when he's a road favorite. And his head coach,
01:11 by the way, Dennis Allen, has the worst record in the league for a coach as a road favorite.
01:16 And then like you allude to, on the other side, we have Minnesota and the Joshua Dobbs factor.
01:22 I loved Minnesota last week because, you know, the fallen hero theory, Kirk Cousins goes down,
01:27 the team rallies around the new guy, Dobbs was heroic. It was fantastic. Now you would think
01:33 the public is probably going to look at that and ride that wave and want to bet on Minnesota again,
01:40 but this is now the second week. It's back to reality. The fact is you don't have Kirk Cousins
01:45 anymore, and is Joshua Dobbs going to be able to sustain what he did last week? I believe an
01:51 inspired Minnesota Vikings team knowing that they were without their star quarterback. And again,
01:56 it's the situation where it's kind of back to reality right now in week two in that follow-up
02:01 contest when the fact is you don't have Kirk Cousins, who was the best player on your team,
02:05 and really driving this ship. Now, when I make my number on this one, it comes out to Vikings minus
02:12 two. I figure it's probably a three and a half or four point adjustment for Dobbs. So that makes
02:18 the Saints a two-point favorite, which is exactly about where it is. This one's really puzzling,
02:24 and I'm going to have to dive into this one further in the week. It may just end up being a
02:28 pass for me, but like you and I talked about, I don't trust the Saints, especially in the role
02:34 of a favorite, let alone a road favorite, even worse. And I fear that the Vikings could be,
02:40 you know, have a letdown a little bit off of that inspired effort last week. And I don't want to all
02:45 of a sudden just jump on the Josh Dobbs hype train here. So this one has conflicting situations for
02:51 me that I am not yet going to vest in either side here at the moment.
