00:05 - Have you ever heard of a Boodle Beetle?
00:08 Well, confidentially, neither have we.
00:12 But it seems that long ago,
00:13 these little creatures were plentiful.
00:15 But because of an inborn love for travel and adventure,
00:19 the Boodle Beetle is now a rare little bug.
00:21 The bug collector, or the entomologist,
00:25 regards this little bug as a prize for his collection.
00:29 (playful music)
00:31 Going somewhere, sonny?
00:34 I wouldn't be in too much of a hurry if I were you.
00:40 There's danger lurking out in them woods,
00:42 and you're just setting yourself for a heap of trouble.
00:46 You know, there's not many of us Boodles left,
00:50 and it's just because too many of them
00:52 have set out across that stream and never come back.
00:56 And here you go, setting your cap for the same medicine.
01:00 Sit down, sonny, and let me tell you a story.
01:03 When I was a young pup and full of vinegar,
01:10 (laughs)
01:11 just like yourself,
01:13 I had ideas of adventure, too.
01:15 So, I packed my bag and said goodbye to my home.
01:21 I'm a little funny about this sentimental stuff.
01:25 And set out for what was gonna be
01:27 the doggone-est adventure.
01:29 I'll have to admit, it was pretty fascinating at first.

02:20 there was lurking in the forest a horrible monster.
02:24 (grumbling)
02:29 Well, I guess I must have walked
02:42 hundreds of miles that first day.
02:45 I was just picking them up and laying them down.
02:50 I just didn't feel up to it.
02:53 So, I thought I'd lay down for a little shut-eye
02:56 and tackle it in the morning.
02:58 Well, suddenly, I had the feeling I wasn't alone.
