03:56 Even though we have sinned
03:58 We hope that Allah will forgive us
04:05 Ya Rabb al-Amin
04:07 We are going to read today the third part of the 100th page
04:13 Two verses, 139 and 140
04:17 We are going to try it
04:19 Last night we read it with Bayyati
04:21 Today we will try it with Hijaz inshaAllah
04:24 Let's start
04:26 In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
04:37 Those who take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers
04:57 Do they seek in their sight the might? Indeed, the might belongs to Allah, all together.
05:13 And He has sent down to you in the Book that when you hear the signs of Allah, you will be disbelieved in them and mocked at them.
05:36 And He has sent down to you in the Book that when you hear the signs of Allah, you will be disbelieved in them and mocked at them.
05:51 So do not sit with them until they are lost in a different discourse.
06:20 Indeed, you will be like them. Indeed, Allah has gathered the hypocrites and the disbelievers.
06:45 Indeed, Allah has gathered the hypocrites and the disbelievers.
06:59 Indeed, they will be in Hell, all together. Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
07:19 We will continue reading from verses 139 and 140.
07:23 Thank you.
07:25 We will continue reading from verses 139 and 140.
07:25 Thank you.
07:27 May Allah reward us with every word we read just now.
07:35 And more than that, we want to see the connection between the character of the hypocrites.
07:40 In verse 138, in the previous episode, we have explained that for the hypocrites who believe in disbelief and play with this truth,
07:53 they are promised a very painful punishment.
07:58 Why? Because of this,
08:05 because one of the great characteristics, like we have interacted with many hypocrites,
08:12 but in this verse, Allah has added another guide for us to make as a boundary,
08:18 that is, they take the disbelievers as a protector and a leader other than the believers.
08:26 These hypocrites try to support the disbelievers.
08:33 And more than that, we need to understand what does it mean by Al-Kafirin,
08:36 which means a person who is not a Muslim and opposes Islam.
08:41 That is what we need to understand.
08:43 Because this verse is a confusion.
08:45 If we say in the election of a leader, can I have a boss who is not a Muslim?
08:50 Not Islam and Al-Kafirin are two things that we need to understand.
08:54 If he is not a Muslim, he is called a Mushrik.
08:57 Or if he is a Jew or a Christian, he is a Ahlul Kitab.
09:02 That means if he is not a Muslim, he is still a Mushrik.
09:05 But if Al-Kafirin is specifically used in the Quran,
09:09 they are not Muslims, not Muslims, and the third is opposing Islam.
09:17 And we need to understand this clearly.
09:19 Because people will say, how can we choose a person who is not a Muslim?
09:26 But more than that, when Allah says, "Mindunil mu'minin" not "Mindunil muslimin".
09:32 Because people say we need to choose an Islamic person.
09:35 Allah says here, not only Muslims, but people who have faith.
09:41 Al-Mu'minin as a saint, as a leader, as a protector in life.
09:47 And this is the concept of Al-Wala.
09:49 The word saint comes from the word Al-Wala, which means obedience.
09:52 Al-Wala wal-Bara'a, obedience and also separation, which we need to understand.
09:56 So when this verse is understood well, then no one is trying to misuse it.
10:02 He said that's why we can't choose a non-Muslim.
10:06 Choose an Islamic person.
10:08 But the Islamic person, he acts more or less.
10:12 He may break his faith.
10:15 Maybe he sometimes breaks the ethics of faith.
10:19 So we need to be careful with people like this.
10:23 How about if we say he is not a Muslim but he is a believer?
10:26 That's what was shown by the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW.
10:29 If the task is not related to faith, not related to worship.
10:34 For example, in the event of the migration of the Prophet to Madinah,
10:37 Abdullah bin Uraikid.
10:42 He was a Jew.
10:44 To show the technical way to manage the worldly affairs, there is no problem.
10:51 But if we say he is not a Muslim, then he is against Islam.
10:57 And we know that if there are two people who are Muslim and non-Muslim,
11:02 who are not against Islam, then of course we will choose the Muslim.
11:06 And if both are Muslim, we will choose the one who is a believer.
11:10 This is what is stated here.
11:12 [Al-Quran 163]
11:16 Allah is being kind to the hypocrites because they want to find honor other than Allah.
11:23 Allah said that the honor is to Allah in a way of giving.
11:29 What does honor mean?
11:30 Honor is to be honored.
11:31 And in this context, they feel, according to Imam Sa'di,
11:35 they support the disbelievers because they are rich, influential, strong.
11:41 Allah said that the one who is truly powerful, truly honorable is Allah.
11:49 This is the mindset for the hypocrites.
11:52 He chooses worldly things.
11:54 But for the believers, we are told to choose whatever leads to the hereafter,
12:00 believing in Allah, the Messenger and the Book.
12:03 This is the guidance.
12:05 Do not let us choose to support the opponents of our religion.
12:12 We will take a short break and return again.
12:14 May the Quran be with you.
12:15 May the peace and blessings of Allah be with you.

15:23 [Music]
15:30 May Allah bless us.
15:31 We are back in my Quran Time, Quran Salat Imfah.
15:33 We are together in Ayah 139 and Ayah 140 today
15:37 to see how Allah reminds us not to be like the hypocrites
15:43 who take other than the believers,
15:45 the standard that is sought by the Master,
15:48 the responsibility for the mothers, fathers, and all leaders,
15:51 to train, guide, and educate the children of these workers to become believers.
15:57 That is a struggle.
15:58 Because when a person is a believer as a worker,
16:01 he will not make a problem.
16:02 If he makes a mistake, he admits a mistake,
16:04 he knows Allah is watching,
16:06 even if he commits a sin, he will ask Allah for forgiveness.
16:09 He will not feel guilty to ask Allah for forgiveness,
16:13 to admit a mistake.
16:15 But if a person is not a believer,
16:17 or the term hypocrite, he will be a yoyo.
16:20 He will, at a certain time, be a believer,
16:22 follow the words,
16:24 then he will talk behind the back,
16:25 try to kill or fail the plan in an organization.
16:32 What else if we talk about society,
16:35 about the country or the state.
16:37 So in Ayah 139, Allah states,
16:40 the basis of choosing a leader, a protector among the believers,
16:45 that is a struggle.
16:47 And that struggle is what needs to be based in our daily lives.
16:51 Because if we say, for example,
16:53 sometimes people say,
16:55 he is a believer, not like this non-Muslim,
16:59 or Al-Kafirin, not a non-Muslim, but Al-Kafirin.
17:03 This person may have,
17:05 who is against Islam, he has a PhD, for example,
17:08 or he has various skills.
17:10 This believer, the condition is,
17:13 he may not be well-known.
17:15 So at that time, we may feel that
17:17 if I support this Al-Kafirin,
17:20 he will be more advanced in my daily life.
17:23 Whereas in fact, if he has an agenda against Islam,
17:26 then he will use that skill to fail
17:30 any kind of goodness or any element of faith,
17:33 or worship in ourselves.
17:35 So that is what we need to really look into.
17:38 What is the basis?
17:39 [Al-Quran 18.13]
17:42 So in fact, the real glory and honor
17:45 only comes from Allah SWT.
17:47 How do we maintain,
17:49 to maintain the spirit of glory and honor
17:52 from Allah SWT?
17:54 There is a guidance from verse 140
17:57 for us to pay attention to,
17:59 and we practice in our daily life.
18:02 Verse 140 with Al-Fatihah.
18:04 Thank you, Al-Fatihah.
18:05 Ladies and gentlemen,
18:06 dear companions of the Quran,
18:08 verse 140, be careful,
18:10 we want to read,
18:11 among them is the word,
18:13 [Al-Quran 18.13]
18:17 Don't be confused with 'Ain.
18:19 [Al-Quran 18.13]
18:21 Oh, it sounds like an Arab.
18:23 Hamzah is also an Arab.
18:25 [Al-Quran 18.13]
18:27 Hamzah is there.
18:29 Another one is the word,
18:30 [Al-Quran 18.13]
18:35 in verse 140.
18:37 Let's try,
18:38 our reading of verse 140.
18:41 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
18:44 [Al-Quran 18.13]
18:45 [Al-Quran 18.13]
19:07 [Al-Quran 18.13]
19:27 [Al-Quran 18.13]
19:57 [Al-Quran 18.13]
20:18 [Al-Quran 18.13]
20:27 May Allah bless verse 140
20:30 which gives us guidance.
20:31 [Al-Quran 18.13]
20:34 And Allah has decreed for you
20:36 in the Book of the Quran
20:38 that when you hear the verses of Allah
20:41 being denied and denied,
20:43 then do not sit together with them.
20:46 This is the gathering,
20:47 the gathering,
20:49 the gathering,
20:50 whatever program
20:52 that denies and denies the verses of Allah,
20:57 then Allah has decreed
20:59 that you should keep away from this place.
21:03 And when we talk about this,
21:05 what is the point?
21:06 Imam Sa'adi has stated that
21:07 the gathering that has the verses of Allah,
21:10 we need to believe in it,
21:12 we need to enlarge it,
21:14 and we need to glorify it.
21:16 We should not say,
21:17 "Allah has decreed it."
21:19 No, we should not say that.
21:21 Why?
21:22 Because when we say "it" like that,
21:24 we are reducing it,
21:26 then it will cause someone
21:28 to not look down on the things
21:30 that Allah has reduced.
21:32 What is that?
21:33 The gathering that has
21:35 the verses of Allah and also
21:37 the gatherings of the righteous.
21:38 As stated in verse 140.
21:42 So, when someone
21:44 does not look down on this place,
21:46 what is the effect?
21:47 The effect is that
21:48 that person will lose his dignity,
21:50 as stated in verse 139.
21:52 His dignity in himself,
21:54 he feels that the glory in his life
21:57 depends on Allah.
21:59 The glory in his life
22:00 depends on the Quran.
22:03 The glory in his life,
22:05 when his saints,
22:06 his leaders,
22:07 his protectors,
22:08 are people of faith,
22:09 his feelings will be
22:10 getting smaller and smaller.
22:12 Why does this happen?
22:14 There is a term in this verse,
22:16 "Fala taqoodu ma'ahum"
22:18 "He is always sitting,
22:20 always chatting,
22:22 or gossiping."
22:24 He is sitting with people
22:26 who are denying the verses of Allah
22:28 and are denying it.
22:30 There are at least three groups.
22:32 One is the true Al-Kafirun,
22:34 Al-Kafirin.
22:35 The second is Al-Munafiqin.
22:37 Both are actually combined.
22:39 Allah said that both are the same.
22:41 The third is the people
22:43 who are Muslims.
22:45 They are believers,
22:47 there is no problem with that.
22:48 Muslims who are actually
22:50 maybe have fallen
22:52 to the term of the Munafiqin.
22:54 And what is their activity?
22:56 They say,
22:57 "If we read the Quran a lot,
22:59 or the other term,
23:00 the disbelief in the verses of Allah,
23:03 even the reverse of the Salat Tunggang,
23:05 it has a productive effect
23:07 on the organization of the company."
23:09 Or, "Reading the Quran
23:11 does not increase the income."
23:13 The words of those words
23:15 are actually the words of disbelief.
23:17 Or, they are playing with the...
23:19 the one who wears the kopiah, right?
23:21 If he wears the kopiah,
23:23 I don't know,
23:25 he is not ready to work.
23:27 Wait a minute,
23:29 the one who is not ready
23:31 has his own characteristics.
23:33 Don't be tied to wearing the kopiah
23:35 and finally,
23:37 if there is a power to
23:39 to be able to do one thing,
23:41 as in the hadith,
23:43 "If you are not able to do it,
23:45 don't sit with them."
23:47 Because if we say
23:49 we are not able to do it,
23:51 don't sit with them,
23:53 at first,
23:55 we feel we don't like it.
23:57 But because
23:59 he wears a different kopiah,
24:01 finally, we say,
24:03 "It's okay,
24:05 he is not a Muslim
24:07 to curse the Quran or the Prophet."
24:09 He is not about the issue of people.
24:11 Finally, that thing will creep in.
24:13 It will enter our heart and normalize.
24:15 He will feel like, "It's okay."
24:17 That God is cursed,
24:19 the Quran is cursed,
24:21 there is no solution in life.
24:23 And finally, we
24:25 become a person who does not have
24:27 "Izzatallillahi jami'ah"
24:29 does not feel the glory
24:31 with Allah SWT.
24:33 In this verse,
24:35 there is more guidance.
24:37 But we see first
24:39 the choice words of today.
24:41 The words of today are,
24:43 "Hatta yahudu fihadithin ghayrih"
24:45 "Yahudu"
24:47 is from the root word,
24:49 "Khawdha"
24:51 "entered the well of discussion"
24:53 12 times it is mentioned in the Quran.
24:55 Surah Al-An'am,
24:57 Surah Al-Zuhruf, and also
24:59 Surah Al-Ma'arij.
25:01 It means, it has entered the well.
25:03 If we are in the well,
25:05 we have to be careful.
25:07 Because if we enter together,
25:09 we will be drowned together.
25:11 If the topic is about
25:13 work,
25:15 or any other book,
25:17 or any event, there is no problem.
25:19 "Yahudu fihadithin ghayrih"
25:21 But when it has entered
25:23 to the Muslims,
25:25 the Quran,
25:27 or things that
25:29 explain the truth,
25:31 then we have to have
25:33 the strength as a believer
25:35 to raise up and leave
25:37 or deny
25:39 the falsehood.
25:41 We will take a short break.
