00:37 Behind me is what we dub the Helwig Rule Breaker.
00:40 It's a 2016 Nissan Titan with a 2017 Lance 650 camper on the back.
00:47 We were trying to come up with a new idea for SEMA,
00:51 which is basically the world's biggest car show in Las Vegas.
00:55 And we wanted something that would showcase our products,
00:58 but do it in a different way.
00:59 [MUSIC]
01:02 We specialize in load and sway controls.
01:04 Airbags, helper springs, and sway bars.
01:07 Typically, our number one client or customer is going to be somebody
01:10 that's towing and hauling, somebody that has a sliding camper
01:12 like the truck behind me.

01:21 When you think of a truck and a camper,
01:24 you think of a white truck with a white camper
01:27 with a white-haired dude driving it at 45 miles an hour.
01:30 So we wanted to go the complete opposite.
01:31 So we did a yellow truck, black camper with some graphics on it,
01:34 Method wheels with Falcon tires.
01:36 This is Icon Vehicle Dynamic Suspension,
01:39 softer for on-road, heavier for off-road.
01:42 Next, we have a FabFours bumper that we modified for our Warn winch.
01:47 And then our rear sway bar that helps to manage the altered center of gravity
01:50 on this thing and keep it safe going down the road and here off-road.
01:55 Here is our bathroom area.
01:58 Stepping out immediately to the left, you've got your sink.
02:00 You've got a two-burner range.
02:03 We've got the fridge right here.
02:05 Any food you need, beer, beverages, you're good to go.
02:08 Cool feature is the TV.
02:11 Have it locked in place and watch it laying in bed.
02:14 Full audio system here and outdoor speakers when you're lounging,
02:17 hanging out in your hammock or kicking underneath the awning.

02:24 The way it drives now compared to factory,
02:26 even with the camper off, is completely night and day.
02:30 As far as going down the highway, it's much more planted.
02:33 It has a slightly wider stance.
02:34 It definitely has more surface area of tire.
02:36 It doesn't feel like you're driving a truck at all.
02:38 It feels like you're just driving a sedan that's higher off the road.
02:41 We wanted to see what it would do, so we took it up and down some hills.
02:46 Got some three-wheel motion going, got the front left wheel off,
02:49 got the front right off.
02:51 No hiccups, no issues.
02:52 This thing's been amazing for us.

02:59 We built this truck for the 2016 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
03:03 Definitely had people that came over saying, "What are you doing?
03:06 This is absolutely ridiculous. Who does that?"
03:08 And one guy actually said to me, "But it got me over here."

03:14 Well, I've stayed in this thing up to three weeks at a time.
03:16 I've actually left quality name-brand hotels,
03:19 the comfort of their bed, to go sleep in the camper.
03:22 It's been a great truck. We've camped all over.
03:24 We've taken it to the bottom of the Grand Canyon a couple times.
03:27 We've been to Overland Rallies. It's been to Baja Mexico twice.
03:30 It's toured pretty much the whole western United States.
03:32 I've camped in it in legit camp spots.
03:35 I've camped out in the parking lot of music venues.
03:40 I could sit here all day with a campfire and tons of beers
03:42 and tell you story after story about where we've been.
03:45 Call me an outdoorsy guy, but I like going out and living outdoors.
03:49 Fire up the grill, we'll serve some brats and give out some beer.
