Wild west fan avoids jail after gunpowder found at his home

British army bomb disposal units were called to the home of Tony Wooley, a Wild West enthusiast, after a report from his sister about explosives. He used gunpowder for historical re-enactments but caused evacuations due to a suspected device that turned out to be a sound box. Wooley faced legal consequences, receiving a six-month suspended jail sentence and £400 in costs at Birmingham Crown Court.

A West Midlands-based drug supply ring saw four of its key West Midlands based members sentenced to jail The ringleaders, Shaun Ali and Jermaine Lewis, both 30 years old, received nine-year prison sentences each, as determined by Birmingham Crown Court. Pace Lewis, aged 23, faced a sentence of eight years and four months, while Anil Ali, 28, received a six-year jail term.
