European cities hold antisemitism vigils and Gaza relief rallies

Thousands rallied in Berlin and London against antisemitism and in support of Israel, while pro-Palestinian protests in Paris and other cities demanded a Gaza cease-fire and aid. In Berlin, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier voiced concern for fearful Jews and condemned attacks on Jewish institutions, and Chancellor Olaf Scholz inaugurated a new synagogue in Dessau, expressing outrage at rising antisemitism during the recent conflict.
