A Premium Model with a Sporty Body Kit Exclusive to Brazil, New Suzuki Jimny Sierra 4Style 2024

The Brazilian 4Style costs around $40,000 and doesn't offer any performance upgrades over the standard Jimny.

The Suzuki Jimny is very popular with tuners for its wide range of aftermarket body kits aimed at small off-road enthusiasts. To capitalize on this trend, Suzuki Brazil offers a factory-specific version of the Jimny with a sporty and luxurious look, called 4Style.

The Suzuki Jimny 4Style has been a member of the Brazilian lineup since May 2023, offering a fancier alternative to more traditional off-road-focused trims like the 4Sport and 4Expedition. Unlike those, it's aimed at buyers who want their Jimny to turn heads by looking like a baby Mercedes G-Class.

Jimny 4Style's body-colored bumpers, fenders, side skirts and special grille distinguish it from its siblings, and the utilitarian appearance is replaced by a more premium and sporty appearance. The same goes for the black roof with integrated spoiler, special cover for the rear spare tire and bumper-mounted LED taillights with new graphics.

Additionally, the ladder-frame SUV rides on new 16-inch alloy wheels with a special five-spoke design finished in black. Tires are also different from other equipment; Suzuki's local arm opts for a more road-friendly tire measuring 215/70R16, but the suspension and ground clearance remain unchanged.

Inside the cabin, there are premium-looking fabric and leather upholstery with red accents and white stitching, as well as special floor mats and LED interior lights. Standard equipment includes automatic climate control and JBL infotainment, but don't expect any ADAS.

Despite its fancy appearance, there are no mechanical changes compared to other Jimny grades. This means the 4Style is powered by the same naturally aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol as all Brazilian models, producing 107 hp (79 kW / 108 PS) and 138 Nm (102 lb-ft) of torque. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a torque converter-only four-speed automatic, with the manual transmission reserved for the base model.

The Suzuki Jimny 4Style is priced at R$203,990 ($40,274), making it much more expensive than the cheapest Jimny 4You in Brazil, which costs R$162,990 ($32,179). Despite the high price tag, Suzuki clearly believes there is an audience for such special editions, as there are many Jimny buyers who spend a lot of money on similar aftermarket mods.

Of course, traditional Suzuki buyers will probably prefer something more rugged like the Jimny 4Expedition flagship, which comes with mud-terrain tires, a suspension lift kit, rock sliders, a roof rack and a snorkel.
