Yoo Young-seok: These days, I’m very impressed by the crews of the show for casting such great singers. When they cast great singers, I feel like throwing away the gift even before unwrapping it. So, it’s disappointing. Everyone must know that these two don’t deserve to be eliminated from Round 1.
Shin Bong Sun: I loved both of their performances. How could two people with such different voices sing like one person? It was such a beautiful performance.
Panelist: The voice that touched my heart was Ddaengchil’s. He sounded considerate, yet he was singing with all his might which looked cool to me. It was touching.
Yoo Young-seok: He’s charming.
Shin Bong Sun: He’s a great singer.
Kim Sung-joo: We asked Hongseok whom he wanted to dedicate his performance to and he answered, “Myself.”
Hongseok: During the first practice session for this show, I got goosebumps. Because the entire band played the instruments and the backup singers sang just for me. I realized that that was the reason I wanted to become a singer and that I really love singing. I enjoyed it so much. That’s why I wanted to dedicate my performance to myself.
Kim Sung-joo: It’s been only four years since you debuted. I heard that there’s something that has been weighing on your mind. What’s troubling you?
Hongseok: I love our team, Pentagon, and I can say with confidence that our music is good. But not so many people really know about our group and it makes me a little sad. I wanted many people to listen to our songs and it made me feel anxious and sad. That’s what has been troubling me.
Yoo Young-seok: I think his performance proved that even a great singer with a lot of experience can’t easily outdo a brilliant new singer. He sang “Hello” just now and I hope that we’ll get to say hello to him for a long time.
Hongseok: I was really happy that many of the audience voted for me. It felt like many people acknowledged my ability and I’m thankful for that. I hope you’ll keep watching me. I hope many of you will support Pentagon and me.
