00:03 Now back to the news.
00:06 Suzanne Somers' son Bruce, has paid touching tribute to his brave warrior mother after
00:10 she died peacefully at home on October 15, following a years-long battle with cancer.
00:15 Taking to social media Monday, Bruce whom Suzanne shared with her ex-husband, Bruce
00:19 Somers Sr., posted a sweet photo of the Three's Company star, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
00:25 She soared higher than most can dream, he began his heartfelt Instagram post.
00:30 She protected those who didn't have a voice.
00:33 She asked the questions most didn't know to ask.
00:36 She shared her challenges and brought light to solutions.
00:39 To so many she was a brave warrior who articulated their fears.
00:43 She wasn't fearless, but she faced them so we could learn, he continued.
00:47 She was a friend, a wife, a sister, a daughter, an entertainer, an icon, and a legend.
00:53 But to me, she was just mom.
00:55 I had the privilege as the only person who could call her that.
00:58 Growing up, it was us against the world.
01:01 And then she took the world by storm.
01:03 The UCLA grad admitted that death always comes too soon, no matter how prepared we may be.
01:09 But she will live through me as she taught me to be kind, to be present, to love and
01:12 be loved, to care, to express, and to always speak from the heart, because that is the
01:17 voice of God, he shared.
01:19 Mom, you left me with all the tools, though I'll still need your guiding spirit around
01:23 me.
01:24 I'll follow you and know you are there, he penned.
01:27 But I will miss your sweet hand and caring eyes that would look deep into my soul for
01:30 verification that everything was okay.
01:33 Bruce Jr. thanks Suzanne for being the best mother any son could ever dream of, adding,
01:37 "I miss you already.
01:39 Call me greedy, but 57 years wasn't enough.
01:42 And yet, I received more love than I could ever imagine.
01:45 I love you so dearly."
01:46 "Happy birthday on what would have been your 77th birthday," he wrote.
01:51 "Please gorge on all the birthday cake you want, while you make all the other angels
01:55 sing, dance, laugh and cry.
01:57 Today, heaven is lucky."
