00:00 I'm Seamus Devlin, I'm the head coach and part owner of the business here at the Corbers Den.
00:05 I'm Dominic Thompson, I'm the managing director of the company.
00:09 We're in Paddyham, Lancashire on Burnley Road, it's called the Corbers Den.
00:12 Eventually we want to get it affiliated, amateur affiliated, and I'm going down the professional route.
00:17 So I'll have my trainer's seconds and my manager's licence and I'll be able to officially train professional boxers from this place.
00:23 I've noticed as well the social aspect is just as important as the actual training and the physical training itself.
00:28 That's why we've incorporated the mental health professionals on site 24/7 which will soon be implemented.
00:33 We're working with the police at the moment trying to get kids off the street.
00:36 We've had the council involved, we're holding mental health sessions, that's coming soon.
00:41 It's going to be a community centre as well as a boxing gym, so it's going to be like a community hub.
00:45 We're doing some outreach work and working with a lot of underprivileged kids and doing different work outside of the gym as well.
00:50 We've got a good infrastructure, we've got a lot of things set up, a lot of things in place and it's an exciting future.
00:55 We found it on the website, contacted Pendle Hill, come and viewed it and basically it was just a done deal straight away.
01:02 We're big enough for the boxing, brought Seamus in who was happy with it.
01:05 We've done a lot of work in here, redecorated everything, we've had to varnish and try and restore the woodwork.
01:11 There's still little bits here and there that need doing, we've also got the upstairs floor, we're still figuring out how to make the best of that.
01:17 Yeah, it was a shell when we got here and now we're building it slowly but surely, we've got there.
01:22 As you can see we've got the boxing ring, downstairs we have the floor to ceiling balls, the heavy bags.
01:29 We've got different equipment up here like the pads, the noodles, we've got the steppers, we've got the weights, the balls rolling.
01:35 It's all going smooth, so yeah, 110% recommend Pendle Hill Properties, it was a smooth transition, an easy process, very quick and I'd 110% recommend them to anybody else.
