It turned out that the little champ had no idea that one of his favorite people was coming home that day.
"My husband, Daniel, has been stationed in Hawaii for three years, and during that time, my son and I haven't been able to move with him," the filmer, Stacy Cordel, told WooGlobe. "So, we were able to surprise Gunnar with his stepdad coming home earlier than he expected."
