Bautista, nagbantang kakasuhan si Mar Valbuena ng Manibela
Transcript
00:00 Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista warned that the people behind his accusation of corruption will be sued
00:09 while the whistleblower who said the issue was his first, LTFRB Chair Teofilo Guadis III and Bautista,
00:19 that's what Karen Villanda said.
00:23 The former LTFRB Executive Assistant Chair Teofilo Guadis III, Jeff Tombado,
00:30 returned the accusation that Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista and Malacanang
00:36 were involved in the LTFRB's corruption.
00:38 This is what Tombado admitted to Secretary Bautista when they talked this morning.
00:44 He didn't say that we were involved in the corruption.
00:50 That's what he told me this morning.
00:53 And this is just a work of Mar Balbuena.
00:58 He's just using Balbuena's groupon.
01:00 Tombado also released an affidavit of recantation
01:04 to ask for a dispensation from Guadis, Secretary Bautista, and Malacanang.
01:09 It states that whatever statement he made in the press conference on October 9,
01:13 he only received a letter of intent to release such statement.
01:18 That's why Bautista has a plan to use Balbuena as a scapegoat.
01:23 I'm telling him that I might file a case against him
01:28 because his accusation is too serious.
01:31 There's no evidence.
01:34 Bautista also explained that he works for the government for the Filipinos.
01:39 He also took care of his name for many years
01:41 when he was still working in the private sector.
01:44 That's why he can't do anything to steal the people's money.
01:48 The allegations that we are involved in corruption are not true.
01:52 We say that this is baseless.
01:57 You know, I joined the government to serve the people.
02:02 I've worked for the private sector for 45 years.
02:05 I took care of my good name.
02:08 I will not let such accusations pass.
02:12 We will study all the false accusations
02:18 and we will file charges against them.
02:24 In order to make the investigation fair,
02:27 he asked for help from the National Bureau of Investigation
02:31 to find out the truth about the screenshots
02:34 that were sent to LTFRB Chair Guadis in Catiwariana.
02:38 Bautista has not talked to Guadis yet.
02:41 He also did not answer his phone call to the office last Monday.
02:45 But Guadis needs to answer the letter from the DOTR
02:48 where he explained the allegations that were sent to him.
02:52 The DOTR will force Guadis to decide
02:55 if he will terminate or file charges
02:58 for the alleged theft of LTFRB.
03:01 As for the stoppage of the Maribel group,
03:04 Bautista also said that he has talked to other groups of transportation
03:08 that will not paralyze the transportation
03:10 because there are still many people who will travel on Monday.
03:13 Karen Villanda, for the nation.
