There are at least 2 types of flow that are common in fluid kinematics. The first is laminar flow. In this flow the fluid motion looks more regular. The second is turbulent flow. A simple example of laminar flow is the flow of oil in a small pipe. In this flow, the fluid motion is irregular. A simple example of turbulent flow is river flow. So, in this series, we will learn to get to know what laminar and turbulent flow are animatedly.
