00:18 the main concern or what Filipinos are concerned about

00:22 is the government's control over the rapid rise in the prices of the main goods in the market

00:29 or inflation.

00:30 And according to the Bayan survey,

00:32 which was conducted from September 10 to 14,

00:35 74% of Filipinos expressed concern

00:41 about the control over the rising prices of the main goods.

00:45 It seems that this did not change in the June 2023 edition of the same survey.

00:50 So we asked the merchants here in Mega Q Mart in Quezon City

00:55 if their salary is the same here.

00:57 Let's listen to the statement of some of our guests

01:01 who said they are stressed about the rising prices of the main goods in the market.

01:08 You're not pretty, you're even uglier.

01:14 Why?

01:14 Of course, you're stressed.

01:16 Who would be stressed?

01:19 That's why it's hard to buy.

01:22 And you see, the ones who earn minimum are really poor.

01:26 That's what I'm thinking, if the prices will change.

01:31 I don't think it will change.

01:33 I hope it doesn't rise again,

01:35 that it won't be the same as before when we were selling rice.

01:39 And after the government lifted the price cap on rice

01:47 or the government's control over the prices of rice,
