00:00 00;01;10;12 00;01;14;22 COMM: The Nocturnal Car Club is one of the
00:14 biggest customised vehicle clubs in the world, with chapters across America, Europe and Asia.
00:19 00;01;17;22 00;01;21;22 COMM: The members spend
00:29 hundreds of thousands of pounds and countless hours turning their regular cars into moving
00:35 roaring works of art.
00:36 00;01;29;02 00;01;36;02 COMM; Here you have a 1998 Chevy two-door
00:40 Tahoe.
00:41 00;01;37;03 00;01;40;05 COMM; We converted the whole front end as you see, fenders, we
00:45 added oversized wheels, 28 inch, fully engraved and painted.
00:49 00;01;42;05 00;01;46;05 COMM; We added a nice mural on top of the hood,
00:53 our caddy paint job, pearl paint job and then some pin striping.
01:00 00;01;50;05 00;01;54;05 COMM; Money wise, it's very hard to pinpoint it, but a rough estimate
01:05 would probably be 90,000 to 100, I know it sounds like a lot to a lot of people but also
01:11 it's a build that has taken maybe four to four plus years.
01:16 00;02;00;00 00;02;06;00 COMM; First start doing it for you know, the girls, why lie?
01:21 But eventually you do it so long, you overlook that, that's not what you're building and
01:25 you fall in love with the builds and you know the attention the builds get and everybody's
01:29 reaction is something different.
01:30 00;02;06;00 00;02;17;00 COMM; When they first see our rides on the street or anywhere we're
01:34 setting them up, first thing that comes out of people's mouth is you know, wow.
01:39 Second thing is why would you do that to a new car?
01:41 Our car club is we try to go after the newest stuff and pretty much mess it up.
01:45 00;02;21;00 00;02;29;00 COMM; The car is great, it's fantastic, it seems there's no part of
01:51 this car that's not customized.
01:54 The paint is extraordinary, definitely has show quality.
02:00 This vehicle is definitely above the top, unique.
02:05 00;02;39;00 00;02;50;00 COMM; We ran out of ideas on cars so why not build a golf cart
02:10 right?
02:11 We put some 14 inch rims on the golf cart, LEDs all the way on the bottom, halo lights,
02:15 it's got TVs everywhere.
02:16 We have an iPad that goes on the dash, X-Box 360 in the back and actually this damn golf
02:22 cart weighs probably as much as a car.
02:24 I'm sitting on a good 12 batteries right now.
02:27 You spend at least $5,000 just on these batteries.
02:30 Despite the incredible amount of time and money involved in being a member of the club,
02:35 it's grown exponentially since its inception in 2001.
02:38 00;03;00;00 00;03;10;00 COMM; We started in Montebello, California.
02:41 We've expanded to 28 chapters including Texas, Florida, St. Louis, Chicago, New York, Arizona,
02:51 Nevada, Utah and now presently in Japan as well.
02:54 Nocturnal as a club, I mean now it's more like family.
02:59 I've missed so many birthday parties, parties and we've gone everywhere with these guys,
03:03 with our members you know and sometimes they do more for you than your own family does.
03:09 Everybody thinks I'm crazy in my family.
03:11 They say I waste too much money on it but my perks are different, my rewards are different.
03:17 I grew up reading the Lowrider magazine here, always aspired to maybe one day come out in
03:22 the magazine but successfully we've won and I'm a three-time champ when it comes to Lowrider.
03:30 Say I'm obsessed with all these vehicles but I don't call it obsessed, it's just you know
03:34 what you love doing.
