Notably, the Chief Minister resides in his official residence rather than his ancestral home. This incident unfolded in Imphal's Heingang locality, with the mob endeavoring to assault the Chief Minister's ancestral house. Swift action by security forces effectively kept the mob at a distance of no less than 100 meters from the residence.
