00:17 future after the success of MotoGP Bharat 2023, the inaugural Grand Prix of India at

00:24 the Buddh International Circuit in Noida. The MotoGP Bharat started on September 22

00:31 with all the sports stars in the sports coming over to this part of the world. The final

00:36 race is on Sunday. Abraham, who is an avid superbike lover, dropped in at the BIC on

00:43 Sunday ahead of the final race and thanked the MotoGP to give India a chance to host

00:49 the biggest spectacle in motorsports. "Thankful to the MotoGP for getting MotoGP to India.

00:55 I'd like to congratulate the Indian oil MotoGP team. I'd like to thank the Chief Minister

01:01 of Uttar Pradesh for really making this happen," Abraham told reporters at the BIC on Sunday.

01:07 He was also excited to all the top riders of the world at one place in India. "I'm just

01:13 very excited to see all the riders here in India. I just think that it's great that MotoGP

01:19 has come. My dream would be to start an academy one day and I want to see an Indian star in

01:26 the MotoGP," he added.

01:28 Abraham, from the sides, how was it? "Thankful to the MotoGP for getting MotoGP to India.

01:34 And I'd like to congratulate the Indian oil MotoGP team. I'd like to thank the Honorable

01:42 Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for really making this happen. And I'm just very excited

01:48 "You've been a biker, you've ridden in your own ways, but how is it from a biker perspective?

01:57 Does it give you confidence that you're not doing something wrong all this while?" "Well,

02:00 I just think that it's great that MotoGP has come. So we encourage parents to allow their

02:06 kids to start riding on the track. My dream would be to start an academy one day and I

02:13 want to see an Indian star in the MotoGP. And I think that's the ambition that I would

02:17 want for India."

02:18 "Lastly, I'll ask you in Hindi for the last time. How do you see MotoGP? It's historic.

02:26 What would you like to say to the fans? Because it's always a fine line between rash driving

02:31 and careful driving and on the track and off the track."

02:34 "First of all, MotoGP is a very historic moment in India. Apart from that, you have

02:40 to learn a lot from MotoGP. Like you need to wear a helmet, you need to wear safe riding

02:47 gear. So our youngsters who are riding without jackets and helmets today, in Delhi it's

02:53 34 degrees, the track temperature must be close to 50 degrees. Here our professional

02:57 riders are riding with helmets and safety gear. So I think it's a great lesson for everybody.

03:02 And I would like to encourage parents that riding is very safe on the track. So bring

03:08 your kids to the track, teach them. We want an Indian star, like our Indian Idol singers,

03:13 there should be an Indian MotoGP star. So let's hope for the best."

03:21 "I feel very good. I'm very, very honored. I'm very humbled that MotoGP is here in India

03:30 today. So I'm just hoping that this event grows every year and a lot more people come

04:16 favourite for the sprint race and the mark event at the Budh International Circuit on

04:22 Sunday. Martin, who is second in the championship, took 12 points for the sprint while leader

04:28 Francisco finished second with 9 points and the eight-time world champion Mark Marquez

04:34 rode to third spot on the podium. This was Marquez's second podium of the season.
